Johanna (she/her) has a background in product strategy, neuroscience, and design. She loves taking in a lot of information and distilling actionable insights from it to populate our roadmap with fast iterations and exciting releases. She fills the office with stories of the latest operas she's attended and tales of sailing come summer.
Georges (he/him) is a product manager and experienced nonprofit leader who specializes in partnerships, business operations, fundraising, and gathering research insights to inform digital product features.
Analisa (she/her/ella) is a community organizer, land & water protector, and daughter of mothers born of the highlands of Huari in the Ancash department in Peru and the seat of the Central Valley in California. She is a systems thinker and network weaver committed to sharing empowerment and building power with everyone she meets as a part of her mission to develop a new society where no one is left behind.
As a Native New Yorker, Pinky (she/her) has a passion for people, processes, and technology. Being part of the civic technology space since 2013, she has been featured in Conscious Magazine as a Powerful Voice in social change. Previously, she has led creative fundraising campaigns in anti human trafficking advocacy and managed several data science for social good community gatherings. Pinky loves connecting with people, whether it’s in front of a meal or on the snow slopes and everywhere in between.
Ilana (she/her) is a writer, Native New Yorker, and advocate for affordable housing. With a background in journalism and community development, she believes in the power of storytelling to drive social change. Outside of work, Ilana can be found at a concert, yoga studio, art museum, or enjoying New York City parks.
Tahnee (she/her) is a visual designer with 9+ years of experience in branding, communications, and interaction design across sectors. Her work focuses on turning the theoretical vision of a brand into visual assets that inspire. Tahnee is driven by her belief in the importance of addressing difficult topics with candor and empathy through the beauty of art of design.
Sam (he/him) is a cartographer and web tool developer who loves bringing complex stories into the world of the interactive. A math nerd by training, he is a strong believer that justice, advocacy, and storytelling should inform technology, and not the other way around.
Atul (he/him) enjoys building bridges of understanding between humans and machines. He has written illuminating software that's been used as the centerpiece of TED Talks, in maker events around the world, and by individuals who are just trying to have a less frustrating time using their computer. But his favorite moments are very personal: understanding where another person is coming from, constructing a metaphor they can relate to, and using it to explain technology in a way that liberates, excites, and empowers.
